You will lie comfortably on the therapy couch covered with a fluffy, soft blanket for the massage.  The finest, organic, Tisserand Aromatherapy oils are gently warmed and then applied with a range of different massage movements over the shoulders, neck and scalp and through the hair.  

The relaxing treatment releases stress that accumulates in the tissues, muscles and joints, softening the skin, improving its tone and resiliency and conditioning the hair.

Who is it good for?

Everyone can enjoy Indian Head Massage!  It is especially good for people suffering with stress, tension, fatigue, insomnia, headaches, migraines, and sinusitis.

What are the benefits?

Indian Head Massage helps increase joint mobility and flexibility in the neck and shoulders.  It improves blood circulation and lymphatic flow, frees knots of muscular tension, relaxes connective tissue and aids in the elimination of accumulated toxins and waste products.  It is particularly good for reducing the effects of stress and tension.

When should the treatment be avoided?

Indian Head Massage should be avoided if you have recently had surgery, a head or neck injury or have a history of thrombosis or embolism.

If you have particularly high or low blood pressure, diabetes, epilepsy, any kind of heart condition, cancer or osteoporosis, you should speak with your G.P. before booking a treatment.
